The best fried chicken in the world on Chicken Tuesday and Chicken Thursday. Pork Chop Wednesday is also wonderful, try the grilled pork chop , otherwise it comes fried.
All the veggies that come with the meats or fish are wonderful. You can't go wrong at this old time meat and 3.
We eat here regularly and it's always the same good food at very reasonable prices.

If you are looking for an authentic southern restaurant, this is it. The fried. Chicken is devine, the Mac and cheese is to die for. The mashed potatoes and gravy could qualify for it's own food group. The staff is very friendly. When you dine at Evelyns, it is like stepping back in time. Evelyn s restaurant is the best southern restaurant in columbus and phenix city. Make sure you bring cash, they do not take cards.

Local restaurant. Takes cash only! But the ladies are so friendly and accommodating. My husband and I have been here for both breakfast and lunch several times. It os always delicious. Best place to get meat & veggies. Grits are delicious in the morning.
